Most operators know they have a liability problem. Few have a structured plan to address it.
TEA works exclusively with small and mid-size Alberta operators to reduce AER LMR exposure and Licensee Liability Rating through field-executed abandonment and workover programs — managed end-to-end under one contract.
Every program includes:
– Idle and orphan well screening for reactivation potential before any plug decision is made
– Rigless and rig-based abandonment execution per AER Directive 020
– SCVF and gas migration measurement integrated into every abandonment scope
– Methane compliance under AER D017, D060, and D087
– ERA MRDP funding navigation — up to 50% cost recovery on eligible wells
– Alberta TIER carbon credit development where applicable
– Full HSE program, WCB Alberta coverage, and $5M liability insurance on every contract
TEA is not a subcontractor. TEA is the program manager — accountable from first well assessment through final Reclamation Certificate issuance.
